Are you sitting home looking out of the window wondering when it will ever stop snowing? Are you feeling depressed because you cant get to the gym? Forget all of that and try to practice some consious breathing exsersises for a few minutes a day and you might feel your spirits lifting. Lie down on a comfortable surface, close your eyes and focus all of your attention on your breath. Try to breath deeply and evenly.When your mind wanders,(which it loves to do) bring your awareness back to your breath. Try this for 3 minutes and notice if your mood lifts. Yoga isn’t just about moving the body. It’s also about calming the mind!
